The firm was established in 1989 by Mr Jan Hanekom, primarily as a Town and Regional Planning firm in Paarl, Cape Town, however, quickly grew and expanded into a multi-disciplinary organization, offering a wide range of services to the client. The Architectural component of the firm was introduced in With the addition of two partners and more personnel in 1995, the capacity and diversity of services provided by the firm was expanded further. Since its establishment in 1989, Jan Hanekom Partnership has offered their clients a multi-disciplinary professional service which is supported by the practices varying fields of expertise, technology and innovation. Over the past years Jan Hanekom Partnership have been involved in a vast variety of projects. Other resorts, of an environmentally sensitive nature, were completed with caution and harmony to enhance the environment; Diaz Beach-Mossel Bay. We have also completed projects of different scales in the affordable housing field. Several Structure Plans and Master Planning processes have been completed or are currently in progress. Val de Vie Winelands Lifestyle estate Is a new luxury estate next to the Berg river, only 40 minutes from Cape Town. Some overlooking vineyards, others the polo fields, dams, and the Berg River. JHP is proud to be the principal town planning consultants for this development. JHP designed a prototype house according to the design guidelines at Val de Vie. We have also explained the process of appointing us to do your dream house at Val de Vie. JHP has just done a concept proposal for a multi million rand hotel in Cape Town. The joint venture between the local authority, Paarl golf club and the developer was negotiated and structured successfully by this firm to generate a phenomenal return for the developer. Within the first month 50% of phase one was sold out, surpassing the developers expectations.
