Spending the day at the famous V&A Waterfront is an absolute must for anyone wanting to experience the magnificent City of Cape Town. Including a boat ride to the well-known Robben Island which will give you a well-informed tour of Cape Town’s history. There are various shops and kiosks to visit in and around the Waterfront. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to go scuba diving with the sea creatures. There are various companies in Cape Town which offer shark cave diving. You get to experience the shark up close behind the safety of a barred cage. Paragliding is a wonderful way to experience the beautiful mountains and oceans Cape Town has to offer. If you would like an aerial view of the city, paragliding over Cape Town is highly recommended. South Africa just wouldn’t be the same without them in it. You have the opportunity to view the indigenous plants and animals while walking to the top of the mountain. There is a kiosk shop which sells various trinkets and snacks. The hop on/off bus is a great way to experience Cape Town. It’s also a great way to get around to various hot spots in Cape Town. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is a beautiful garden within the city of Cape Town. A great way to spend outdoors with the family and enjoy the beauty of nature. In our opinion given the feedback we get from our guests at Roggeland after spending a day exploring Cape Town and returning home exhausted, it would seem that tandem paragliding over Cape Town is the most fun and memorable. A choice of superior or standard rooms give you the option of a large room with bath and freestanding shower or a smaller room with bath and shower combination. A pre-dinner selection of wines to taste is served under the trees and is an opportunity to mingle with other guests. The dining room, originally the old kitchen of the manor house, still has the original oven and fireplace which form part of the character and charm of the homestead.
